Greece’s coastguard rescued 30 migrants and found the bodies of two people on the island of Lesbos on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
The migrants reached the island by boat amid strong winds in the Aegean Sea, a coast guard spokesman said. About 36 people were on board the boat, some of whom jumped into the sea. The official said:
“Coastguards and police searched for more people onshore under adverse weather conditions.”
