Dmitry Kiselyov, CEO of Russia Today, said that Russia sent a request to the White House for an interview with US President Joe Biden.
In his letter sent to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the journalist emphasised that in the context of the crisis that Russia and the US are experiencing, the media group’s management would be grateful for the opportunity to hear from US President Joe Biden on how to improve the international situation and relations between the countries.
We believe that our countries lack the ability to listen and hear each other, it said.
If the US President agrees, the interview will be translated into several foreign languages and distributed on major international resources.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin gave an interview to American journalist Tucker Carlson.
