The death toll of journalists, killed in the besieged Gaza Strip since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Storm on 7 October in response to a Hamas attack, has risen to 133, according to Arab media.
Journalist Muhammad Salama was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Deir al Balah, located in the centre of Gaza.
To date, more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed in the enclave, with at least 68,883 remaining wounded, according to Gaza Health Ministry. Israel has vowed to destroy Hamas following the latter’s attack on southern Israel on 7 October, which killed some 1,200 people.
US Vice President Kamala Harris stated on Sunday that it was necessary to accept a proposed six-week ceasefire agreement in the war between Israel and Hamas, criticising Israel for not delivering enough aid to Gaza.
