Trump challenged Biden to debate

Former US President Donald Trump challenged incumbent President Joe Biden to a debate, declaring on Wednesday that he was ready to confront him face-to-face “anytime.”

It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People. Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!

Biden is expected to face his Republican predecessor in November’s presidential election. The incumbent is also scheduled to deliver his State of the Union address on Thursday. Trump declared he would “correct, in rapid response, any and all inaccurate statements” by Biden live on air during the latter’s address to the nation .

“We did this once before to tremendous success – Beating All Records. It is important for the Country to get the TRUTH!”

Trump skipped all of the Republican presidential primary debates. At the time, he wrote:

The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!
