Solidarity with Kurdistan and condemnation of Turkish actions against Kurds occurred in several Italian cities – ANF News reported.
In the cities of Mantua, Parma and Reggio Emilia, solidarity actions with Kurdistan took place. The various events organised by Rete Kurdistan Italia. The protesters expressed disapproval of the actions on the part of the Turkish State towards the Kurds. The events, which attracted great interest from dozens of Italians, lasted until late in the evening.
Many prominent people took part in the event, such as Sara Lucaroni, author of the book “The Light of Shengal,” and Serkan Xozatlı, one of the representatives of Rete Kurdistan Italia, who called people for solidarity, appeared in Parma. Alessia Manzini, journalist and researcher, met with a member of the Coordination Committee for International Relations of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria in Reggio Emilia.
They conducted a comprehensive assessment of the overall situation in Northern and Eastern Syria. After the meeting, the event ended with a solidarity dinner and Kurdish folk songs sung by Kurdish musician Aştî Avdo.
