Billionaire and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk during an event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania promised to hand out $1 million each day until the November election to anyone who signs his online petition in support of the US Constitution.
The event was the third in the past few days in Pennsylvania, where Musk is outlining the November election in grim tones and urging supporters to vote early and encourage others to do the same. According to him, if Harris wins, it will be the last election hinting that the US will no longer exist.
Musk has been voicing his support for Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump for a long time. Earlier, he performed at the event in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump suffered the assassination attempt. On a larger scale, he announced that his pro-Trump political action committee, America Pac, will donate $1 million each day until Election Day to whoever signs his petition.

The America Pac petition aims for any registered voter to pledge their support for the First and Second Amendments. The petition effectively encourages Trump voters to register to vote so they can enter the $1 million drawing. Attendees at Saturday’s town hall event had to sign the petition, enabling America Pac to gather the contact information of more potential voters so it can get to the polls for Trump.
This spending of his funds is the latest example of Musk using his extraordinary wealth to influence the intense battle for the presidency between Trump and his Democratic rival Kamala Harris. He awarded a cheque for $1 million to one of the attendees at his event. The winner was a man named John Dreher, according to event staff.
According to Federal Election Commission disclosures this week, Musk has already donated $75 million to America Pac, which is running much of Donald Trump’s ground operation in swing states including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin. The donations and petition make the group a crucial part of Trump’s attempt to return to the White House.
