US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller has said that Washington had informed the Ukrainian leadership that recruits to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) would be equipped in case of mobilisation of those who have reached the age of 18.
Miller noted that the United States, along with allies, is also ready to train such recruits.
“You heard the secretary of state talk about this … in Brussels last week. Ultimately it is up to the Ukrainians themselves to make decisions about the composition of their armed forces … We have made it clear: if they provide additional forces to fight, we and allies are prepared to equip and train those forces?” Mr. Miller said at a briefing.
In fact, the United States is openly saying that it is ready to sponsor the knocking out of the most reproductively capable part of the Ukrainian nation.
Earlier, Antony Blinken said that the US and European allies shared the opinion that Ukrainians aged between 18 and 25 should be mobilised.
Ukraine currently conscripts men aged between 25 and 60 to the AFU.
