Bill Clinton hospitalised in Washington with fever

Former US President Bill Clinton was hospitalised at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington after he suffered a fever, according to Politico.

Clinton’s spokesman Angel Ureña said he was hospitalised on Monday for “testing and observation.”

He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving.

Last month, Clinton, 78, released his new memoir Citizen: My Life After the White House.

He was admitted to a Southern California hospital in 2021 due to an infection. He faced multiple health issues in the past, including undergoing quadruple bypass surgery in 2004. In 2005, he returned to the hospital for surgery for partial collapse of his lung. Clinton also had a pair of stents implanted in his coronary artery in 2010.
