Israeli army broke into Kamal Adwan Hospital after days of siege

The Israeli army entered Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday after days of siege, according to the Health Ministry.

The Gaza Health Ministry spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, claimed that the Israeli army was gathering Palestinian men, including medical staff, in the hospital’s square. He expressed fear that they could be arrested or executed.

We urge the UN, World Health Organization and Red Cross to immediately act to save the people inside the hospital and to protect it. “The lives of patients at the hospital are at risk.

Israel launched aerial and ground bombardments, a siege and a ground offensive against the Gaza Strip in retaliation for an attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on October 7.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 18,205 Palestinians have been killed and another 49,645 injured in the Israeli retaliatory attacks.

Official figures put the death toll from the Hamas attack in Israel at 1,200.

UN Security Council envoys urged an end to the conflict in Gaza on Monday when they visited the Egyptian side of the Rafah Border Crossing, the enclave’s only entry point for humanitarian aid.
