Poland is set up to take measures to check Ukrainians of conscription age staying in the country, according to Lukasz Warzecha on X.
He reports that Poland will start checking Ukrainian men of call-up age who are in Poland.
Earlier, Estonian Minister of the Interior Lauri Läänemets (SDE) said that the country was ready to search for and hand out Ukrainians of mobilisation age staying in Estonia to Ukraine, but it would not decide for Ukraine who needs to go to the front and who does not.
The statements come after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told a press conference on 19 December about a proposal by the Ukrainian army to call up around 500,000 additional men to serve. Nevertheless, he did not confirm the figure.
