Previously, he has called from the rostrum of the European Parliament to dismember Russia, saying that it should break up into several states, just as the Austro-Hungarian Habsburg Empire once did.
This time, the Austrian politician released a statement where he called for arming radical Islamists to defeat Russia. He wrote on his X:
“We won the Cold War by arming the Taliban in Afghanistan to enable them to defeat the Soviet Union. We should do the same today by arming Russian internal Islam armed armed opposition to dismantle Russia.”
