Supporters of Bulgaria’s Revival Party are protesting outside the National Assembly building in Sofia, according to local media reports.
The protesters reportedly tried to break through the police barrier and then headed for the National Bank building. Some of the demonstrators made another attempt to break through the police cordon.
The authorities increased the police deployment in the area.
Revival leader Kostadin Kostadinov and party’s deputies joined the protesters. They headed towards the Bulgarian National Television, where they were met by a police cordon and prevented from entering the building.
