Local media reported on Tuesday that the Czech Foreign Ministry planned to extend the ban on visas for Russians and Belarusians due to the war in Ukraine.
Prague is considering extending a two-year ban on new visas and residence permits, which began to take effect after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Czech media report citing the ministry.
The ministry noted that the ban, which was due to expire on 31 March, did not apply to humanitarian cases. It also does not affect applications for short-term residence if the applicant is a family member of the Czech or EU citizen.
