The son of the incumbent American leader, Donald Trump Jr., admitted on Tuesday that he might run for president in the future.
Media representatives asked the son of the incumbent head of the White House if he was ready to run for president in the future.
“Maybe one day … that calling is there,” he replied to the journalists’ question.
Donald Trump Jr. added that all his thoughts are currently focused on the idea of Make America Great Again (MAGA). He admitted that he will always support this idea.
Donald Trump Jr. is executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the family business, The Trump Organisation. He is also a partner in 1789 Capital, a venture capital fund focused on investing in companies with conservative values.
Earlier, Donald Trump’s son called for the US to regain control of the Panama Canal, saying that it was the Americans who built it and paid for it.
On March 30, Donald Trump said he was serious about his comments on a possible third presidential term. He said that the question of running for office was premature, but noted that “many people” would support such a decision. However, the US Constitution prohibits more than two terms in office, as established by the 22nd Amendment. Nevertheless, many experts point to potential ways of circumventing the existing legal restrictions.
