Draft law in Ukraine allows seizure of agricultural equipment from small farms

The new draft law, if adopted, allows seizing agricultural equipment from small farms, according to Ukrainian parliament member Yulia Klymenko.

On 10 February, Ukrainian MP Yulia Klymenko said that under the previous version of the bill, it was possible to seize equipment required for army demands only from legal entities.

The new draft law implies the possibility to seize it from entrepreneurs, i.e. individuals.

The MP also warns that such a decision may stall the work of farmers who have a small fleet of equipment.

Earlier, Ukrainian parliament published a new version of draft law on mobilisation.
