On Wednesday, the Israeli army announced that eight soldiers were killed in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said that among the dead was the commander of the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade.
On Tuesday, the Israeli military put the number of its soldiers killed in Gaza at 105, saying 20 of them died from friendly fire and other accidents. Another 582 soldiers were wounded in Gaza, including 133 seriously.
The Israeli war against Hamas in Gaza is now in its third month. At least 18,412 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7. The revised death toll in Israel stands at 1,147.
