Elon Musk: “Cannot see myself voting for Biden this time”

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced he would not endorse incumbent US President Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

Musk expressed his disapproval of Biden’s potential re-election on Sunday at X:

I cannot see myself voting for Biden this time.

In 2020, the billionaire voted for Biden in the presidential election. However, he now appears to have changed his stance.

In December 2021, he criticised Biden, suggesting an upper age limit of 70 for those running for political office. In 2022, Musk openly supported the Republican Party, suggesting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as the ideal candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

Musk’s discontent with the Biden administration rose when he was excluded from an electric vehicle summit hosted by the White House in August 2021. In addition, Musk opposed the billionaire tax plan proposed by the Democratic Party.
