German airline Lufthansa announced on Wednesday that it would suspend flights to the Iranian capital Tehran due to security reasons, Spiegel reported.
Due to the current situation in the Middle East, Lufthansa has decided, after careful evaluation, to suspend flights to and from Tehran until probably Thursday, 11 April, 2024.
The spokesperson added that the situation would be reviewed on April 11.

Reports note that Iran and Israel have previously threatened each other with attacks, raising concerns about airspace security.
