Heavy non-combat drones will appear on the Ukrainian front line

The UK has supplied Ukraine with heavy drones for medical evacuation and combat supplies, including weapons.

The British Ministry of Defence published a video demonstrating a Malloy drone delivering a wounded soldier tied to a makeshift bed.

London-based Malloy Aeronautics has released a drone capable of carrying a payload of 180 kilograms (397 pounds) and operating within a radius of 70 km (43 miles).

The ministry did not specify which model was delivered to Ukraine, but the declared characteristics coincide with the T400.

The unmanned aerial vehicle reaches a speed of 35 meters (114 feet) per second or 126 kilometers (78 miles) per hour. The waypoints through which it travels can be programmed in advance.

It is equipped with eight propellers and eight main rotors, ensuring proper operation even if one of the propellers fails.

A lightweight version of the drone was sent last year as part of a $370 million defence aid package.

According to some reports, the current delivery includes the Malloy T150, a smaller version of the T400. It has a payload of 68 kg (150 lb), which allows it to carry Javelin anti-tank and Stinger anti-aircraft systems that weigh 23 kg (51 lb) and 15 kg (33 lb), respectively.
