Hezbollah attacks Israel with 30 rockets, US strikes Yemen’s Hodeidah

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that an air defence force detected on Monday some 30 rockets fired from Lebanon towards the Kibbutz Kabri area in northern Israel.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement also said it struck the headquarters of the Israeli army’s 146th Division in Kibbutz Gaaton in northern Israel. Some of the rockets landed in an open area. There were no casualties or injuries.

Local media also reported that the US and Britain struck the island of Kamaran in Yemen’s Hodeidah province on Monday. There were no reports of possible casualties or damage.

The US and British fighter jets attacked Hodeidah’s international airport in late July. Local authorities said US and UK fighter jets bombed the airport four times.

Yemen’s armed forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ongoing ground and air offensives in Gaza, which have killed at least 39,000 people, are ended. The US and Britain announced a military coalition to strike Yemen in support of Israel in December.
