The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah announced on Sunday that its forces struck Israeli units at the Al-Marj base with Burkan missiles in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Hezbollah also announced two separate attacks, on Israeli soldiers in Ramim barracks with “appropriate weapons” and on an outpost at Shebaa Farms with two Falaq 1 missiles.
Israeli forces, meanwhile, struck areas around the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah and the IDF have been clashing on Lebanon’s southern border since the outbreak of the Gaza war, which began on 7 October with the attack on Israel by Hamas. Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Yoav Gallant declared that attacks on Lebanon would intensify even during a possible temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
For its part, Hezbollah stated that its military campaign would continue until Israel ceased hostilities in Gaza.
