Industrial production in the eurozone rose by 0.3% in August

In August 2023, the production of services (excluding financial and public services) increased by 0.3 per cent in the EU and by 0.5 per cent in the euro area compared with July 2023, Eurostat reports.

Compared to August 2022, the production of services increased by 2.4 per cent in the EU and by 2.9 per cent in the euro area.

The Index of Services Production (ISP) is an indicator of business activity that measures monthly changes in output in the service industries (excluding financial and government services).
