The state of Iran knows that Lebanese and Palestinian militants have their “finger on the trigger”.
What I gathered from what I heard from them and the plans that they have – they have their finger on the trigger, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said of Lebanese and Palestinian militants he has met.
The militants’ actions will be “much more powerful and deeper than what you’ve witnessed,” Amirabdollahian told US National Public Radio from the UN, where he was attending a General Assembly session.
Therefore, I believe that if this situation continues, and women and children and civilians are still killed in Gaza and the West Bank, anything will be possible.
These statements were made shortly after the order to strike two sites in Syria. The strikes are being assessed by the Pentagon as a measured retaliation for the strikes on US bases that killed one US civilian contractor following a heart stroke and left 21 US service members with minor injuries.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas continues, with more than 7,000 people, mostly civilians, including more than 3,000 children, killed on the Gaza side, while 1,400 people have been killed on the Israeli side.
