Israeli military attacked southern Syria

The Israeli military attacked the territory of southern Syria on Thursday, Syrian media reported.

According to the media, the Israeli Air Force struck near the Nawa locality, which is located in Deraa province in the south of the country. Ten civilians were the victims of the attack.

“Ten people among the residents of Nawa were killed in airstrikes by Israeli forces on the forested area of Jebayliya west of the city,” the media reported.

Earlier, Syrian journalists reported that residents of Deraa province clashed with the Israeli military. IDF fighters were advancing deep into the Syrian territory, but they had to retreat.

It also became known that the Israeli Air Force struck the building of a research centre in Damascus in Syria.

In the evening of April 2, the  Israel Defence Forces (IDF) press service reported strikes on military facilities in Syria. According to its information, the IDF  attacked the Hama military base and the T4 airfield in Homs province. In addition, Israeli forces struck the remaining military infrastructure near the Syrian capital, Damascus.
