The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey is getting married.
Singer Elizabeth Woodridge Grant, 39, and Jeremy Dufrene, 49, received their marriage licence in Lafourche Parish on Monday and got married three days later. The couple married near Air Boat Tours by Arthur Matherne, a company for which Dufrene runs swamp tours featuring a variety of animals, including alligators.
The couple knew each other at least as far back as 2019, when she published a post about attending one of Dufresne’s wildlife tours. The performer returned to Louisiana in May of this year for another swamp tour, tagging Dufresne again on Instagram. In June, she was spotted again in the New Orleans area, where she caused excitement among locals by visiting an eatery called Tic-Toc Cafe.
The romance between Dufresne and Del Rey first sparked in August when the pair were spotted holding hands at the Reading Festival in the United Kingdom, one of the country’s biggest music events.
New photos and video exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail show Elizabeth walking down the aisle accompanied by her father Robert Grant with a floral bouquet in hand. The classic floor-length gown had an elegant ruffle neckline, a puffy skirt and a modest train that stretched down the gravel aisle.
Del Rey is one of the most famous singers in the world, known for hits such as Video Game and Summertime Sadness. Arthur Matherne’s Air Boat Tours, meanwhile, has a five-star rating on Yelp based on more than 240 reviews.
