Police in London reported on Saturday two people were detained in connection with pro-Palestinian rallies across Britain as part of a “day of action.”
With the resumption of Israel’s operation to destroy Hamas shortly after a seven-day pause, pro-Palestinian demonstrations continue in the same manner as before.
One of those detained is a man on suspicion of racially aggravated disorderly conduct in the Brixton area of south London. The other detainee was a teenager who damaged a police car.
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign called for a “day of action” with events across the UK, events which included rallies and ceasefire vigils in places such as London, Coventry in the center and the Welsh capital Cardiff and Hull in the north of England.
