SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk has expressed regret over his comments about US President Donald Trump, which led to a public feud between them last week.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” the businessman wrote on X.
A public spat broke out between Trump and Musk after the latter left the government. This was preceded by criticism from the businessman of a tax break bill that Trump called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Musk also said that Trump’s tariff policy would lead to a recession. The businessman supported the idea of impeaching the US president, proposed creating a new party, and also announced that Trump was mentioned in documents related to the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of human trafficking for sexual exploitation. Some posts, including those about the Epstein files, were later deleted. Trump responded by saying that Musk had “gone crazy.”
