James David Vance, United States Senator from Ohio, stated that the US makes about 30,000 artillery shells a month, whereas the Russian army produces around 25,000 a day.
Vance also believes that it is time for the United States to recognise that Ukraine will have to cede some territories to Russia, stating that the US should stop sponsoring a war that will sooner or later end in negotiations.
The US Congress is blocking the aid package for Ukraine, demanding that President Joe Biden first provide a plan on what exactly the allocated funds will be spent on. In addition, House Speaker Mike Johnson plans to block the aid until a solution to the exacerbated issue on the US-Mexico border is proposed.
