The Liechtenstein government has declared two days of national mourning for the death of Prince Constantin, 51, on 5 December, Royal Central reports.
After consultation with the Princely House, the Government has decided on two days of mourning.
Until 8 December, all public buildings will fly the national colours of Liechtenstein and the colours of the Princely House. It was suggested that private buildings should also mourn the prince.
Prince Constantin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Liechtenstein Group AG, died suddenly on 5 December. In a statement, the Liechtenstein Group said:
His death comes as a terrible shock to all those who knew him, and the Liechtenstein Group is in deep mourning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his widow Princess Marie von und zu Liechtenstein, and their children Moritz, Georgina, and Benedikt.
He was the third and youngest son of the reigning Prince Hans Adam II and the late Princess Marie. The Prince was married to Princess Marie, with whom he had three children. Constantin was the seventh in the line of succession to the throne of Liechtenstein.
