Protesters marched against Biden outside Radio City Music Hall

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched outside Radio City Music Hall in New York during a fundraising event Thursday for US President Joe Biden.

Protesters spoke out against Israel’s continued killing of civilians in Gaza and the failure of the US to support a lasting ceasefire in the region.

They chanted slogans including “Genocide Joe has got to go!” and “Free, Free Palestine,” some waving Palestinian flags, while others held placards denouncing Biden and the Democratic Party as “war criminals.”

Joe Biden, along with supporting former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, was targeted by protesters at a fundraising event organised by the Democratic Party to raise $25 million.

Since the beginning of the conflct on 7 October, 2023, more than 32,400 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 74,800 injured against a background of widespread destruction and shortages of basic necessities.
