Italy’s Rosetti Marino has secured a contract worth more than 400 million euros ($428 million) for an offshore project in the Mediterranean Sea, according to Splash247.
The deal represented 33% of the total project’s value. The participants are Libya’s Mellitah Oil & Gas, Rosetti Marino, and consortium partners Kerry Project Logistics and Gruppo Antonini. Mellitah Oil & Gas is a consortium formed by the National Oil Corporation of Libya and Eni.
Under the contract, the Ravenna-based fabricator and shipyard will have to carry out the design, procurement, construction, and loading work for the delivery of the topside of the approximately 6,000-tonne wellhead platform. The structure will be installed off the coast of Libya.
The scope of work is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
