Russian security services detained an Uzbek man who confessed to planting and detonating the bomb that killed high-ranking general Igor Kirillov in Moscow at the behest of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Kirillov, chief of Russia’s nuclear, biological and chemical defence forces, was killed outside his apartment building on Tuesday along with his aide when a bomb hidden in an electric scooter exploded.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) claimed responsibility for the murder after Ukraine had accused Kirillov of using chemical weapons against Ukrainian troops. Moscow denied the accusation by Ukrainian authorities.
Russia’s Investigative Committee, which probes major crimes, said in a statement on Wednesday that an unnamed suspect told them he had travelled to Moscow to carry out an order from Ukrainian security services. He also installed a surveillance camera in a rented car watched in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro by the masterminds of the murder.
The suspect revealed that Ukraine had offered him 100,000 dollars and a residence permit in the European country in exchange for Kirillov’s murder. Investigators said that they were identifying other people involved in the case, with Russian media reporting that another suspect had been detained.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow would raise the issue of the murder at the UN Security Council session on Friday, 20 December.
We see that the Kyiv regime has taken responsibility once again for a new terrorist attack. All these SSU losers and the mad Kyiv regime are all tools managed by the Anglo-Saxons. They are the main beneficiaries of Kyiv’s terrorism.
The US State Department said on Tuesday that Washington had nothing to do with the killing and had no prior knowledge of it.
