The Russian Interior Ministry officially put Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, on a wanted list for alleged involvement in 104 terrorist attacks, according to Russian media.
Russia accused four Ukrainian military commanders, including Budanov, of committing acts of “terrorism” in early October. The charges relate to more than 100 drone attacks on Russian-controlled territories.
The Federal Security Service of Russia claimed last year that the Ukrainian intelligence and its chief were responsible for the attack on the Crimean Bridge.
The Russian Investigative Committee launched criminal cases against numerous Ukrainian officials, businessmen and military personnel, with Russian courts issuing arrest warrants in absentia and declaring the officials wanted.
