On Thursday, 30 November, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin would hold a combined final press conference and a direct line on 14 December.
The press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters about it. Peskov noted that it would be a televised programme with no clear timing. However, according to the presidential spokesman, it is always “a very lengthy and informative event.”
He also recalled that Putin had already held a combined direct line and final press conference – in 2020, in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
