On Wednesday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu held talks with a senior Chinese military official on deepening cooperation, according to Interfax news agency.
Shoigu met with General Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of China’s Central Military Commission. It was their second meeting in the past 10 days after talks on the sidelines of the forum, which Shoigu attended in Beijing on October 30.
Relations between Russia and China are an example of strategic interaction based on trust and respect.
Presidents Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping proclaimed a “no limits” partnership less than three weeks before the outbreak of war in Ukraine last year. China refrained from criticising Moscow’s actions, while the United States warned Beijing against supplying arms to Russia.
Earlier, South Korea claimed that North Korea sent artillery shells to Russia using ships and other means of transport since the beginning of August.
