Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New York.
Wang said on Tuesday that China was ready to co-operate with Serbia to achieve the consensus reached by the two heads of state.
He also assured that Beijing supported Serbia in defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, protecting its legal rights and opposing the double standards of some countries, referring to Kosovo.
For his part, Vučić stated that Serbia appreciated its unwavering friendship with China and would never forget its support and assistance. Belgrade was willing to work with Beijing to further develop bilateral relations, he added.
