A power outage at several hospitals raised fears for hundreds of patients, including 37 premature babies in Al-Shifa Hospital, according to Al-Jazeera TV.
The cardiac department of Gaza’s largest hospital, Al Shifa, was destroyed.
“Israel completely destroyed the cardiac department of al-Shifa Hospital… The two-storey building has been completely destroyed in an air strike,” Yousef Abu al-Rish, deputy health minister in Gaza, told AFP.
Gaza health authorities confirmed that 13 Palestinians were killed in Khan Younis.
