Spanish tourist stranded in Turkey’s province rescued by military helicopter

A 74-year-old Spanish tourist stranded in Turkey’s central Kayseri province has been rescued by a military helicopter, Spanish media reported.

According to the information received, the Spanish tourist, whose name was not disclosed, was camping in the Yedigoller area in Aladaglar province.

The tourist was injured when he fell from a cliff about 5 metres (16 feet) into the campsite while exploring the area, after which he sought help from the 112 emergency call centre.

A military helicopter dispatched from the southern province of Adana rescued the tourist and transported him to Adana City Hospital.
