The UN received a request from Russia to provide it with a list of the dead in Bucha in spring 2022, according to UN Secretary-General Stéphane Dujarric.
On Monday, 22 January, at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov pointed out that the UN has still not provided a list of the dead in Bucha, despite numerous requests.
Lavrov in June 2023 questioned whether the West was investigating the Bucha incident, as he constantly appealed to UN Secretary General António Guterres about the importance of clarifying the situation, but received no response.
