This Monday there was a report from Ukraine’s defence ministry which claimed that Russian kamikaze drones had exploded on Romanian territory.
The information about detonated Russian drones on Romanian territory was denied by Romania last night. According to Ukraine’s defence ministry, Russian kamikaze drones had blown up Romania during a Russian bombing raid on Odesa. However, there was a Romania’s Ministry of National Defence report:
“The Ministry of National Defence firmly denies the information circulating in the public space with regard to a so-called situation that occurred during the night of 3-4 September, when Russian drones would have fallen on Romania’s national territory. The Ministry of National Defence reiterates the fact that these attacks targeting Ukrainian sites and civilian infrastructure are unjustified and break all international humanitarian rules”.
According to Ukraine’s air force, Russian forces launched over 32 drones at Ukraine in its Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, ruining industrial facilities and infrastructure.
Today in the morning, the Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelensky, claimed he had chosen to get fired his war-time defence minister Oleksii Reznikov and would ask parliament this week to substitute him with Rustem Umerov, head of Ukraine’s main privatisation fund. Mr Zelensky said he “believes the ministry needs new approaches and other formats of interaction.”
Romania claims that Russian invasion on Ukraine breaks ‘all international humanitarian rules’, Russian attacks break “all international humanitarian rules”, according to Romania’s ministry of national defence.
The ministry it its report denied Kyiv’s statements that Russian drones had exploded on Romanian territory while an attack on Ukrainian port infrastructure happened last night. However, it reiterated its support for the country, and added it reiterated the “fact” Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure were “unjustified” and broke “all international humanitarian rules.” It said:

The war between Russia and Ukraine began in February 2022 when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Although Russian forces made significant gains in the first days of combat, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed attempts to seize Kyiv and other major cities and were soon launching counterattacks at Russian positions.
