Donetsk shelling to be discussed at UN Security Council meeting with Lavrov’s participation, according to Russian Media.
The city of Donetsk came under artillery fire from the Ukrainian armed forces on Sunday morning, 21 January.
A market in the Tekstilshchik microdistrict was hit, local authorities said.
As a result of the shelling, 25 residents of the city were killed and more than 20 others were injured.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ shelling of Donetsk, which killed 25 people, would be one of the topics of discussion at the UN Security Council meeting requested by Russia on 22 January.
