Since the beginning of the conflict, losses of the Ukrainian armed forces have totalled 500,000 people, according to the Ukrainian media.
In a video message, former Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Yuriy Lutsenko said that Ukraine had lost 500,000 people.
“We need to be honest: 500 thousand losses, which are now being talked about, if you divide by a month – it’s 30 thousand a month. Then we will roughly understand what is happening on the frontlines. These are dead and seriously wounded. We need to clearly tell people the truth. I am sure that Ukrainians deserve the truth,” Lutsenko stressed.
Lutsenko has long been in favour of making public the real figures on the dead and wounded.
