The object flew into Poland across the border with Ukraine, Brigadier General of the Polish Armed Forces, General Maciej Klisz, reported.
During Monday’s massive attack on Ukrainian territory, we probably had an object flying into Polish territory. The object was confirmed by radar by at least three radar stations. We had full control of the object and were ready to shoot it down.
The object, identified as not a missile, flew into Poland from the Ukrainian city of Chervonohrad and probably landed in the town of Tyszowce, Poland, Klisz stated. It disappeared from radar after about 25 kilometres of flight, the general added.
It was not confirmed by planes and helicopters. A search operation for the object has been launched.
Klisz claimed that he was in constant contact with both Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Wiesław Kukuła.
