US military launches another barrage of missiles against Houthis in Yemen’s capital

The United States Air Force attacked Yemen’s capital Sanaa on Monday, Al Masirah TV reported. According to the media, a residential building in one of the neighbourhoods in the west of the city came under the American attack.

Other sources note that the object of the attack, where allegedly there was a warehouse with weapons, actually belongs to the movement “Ansar Allah” (Houthis). Details of the incident will be known later, at the moment there are no reports of possible casualties.

The capital Sanaa continues to be under the control of the Houthis, who are targeted by the US operation, which began on March 15 on the orders of White House head Donald Trump. The US command indicated that the operation is aimed at protecting the interests of Washington and ensuring freedom of navigation.

Earlier, the media reported that the US launched three strikes on the airport of the city of Hodeidah. The US military, as reported by journalists, deliberately aimed at the infrastructure object. Also because of Washington’s attacks on Yemen, military advisers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed.

Earlier, the Houthis attacked Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv with rockets. The forces of the military movement said they carried out a “high-quality military operation in the occupied Jaffa neighbourhood.”

The Houthis, who control much of Yemen, have stepped up their attacks on Israel in recent days, saying they are acting in support of the Palestinian Hamas movement. Earlier, US President Donald Trump ordered the US military to launch “decisive and powerful” action against the Houthis.
