SpaceX rocket launched a new US-Russian crew to the International Space Station (ISS), BBC News reported.
Three American astronauts and one Russian cosmonaut began their space adventure on Dragon Endeavour. They plan to stay aboard the ISS for six months conducting various scientific experiments.
Space exploration remains one of the few areas in which the US and Russia have maintained close co-operation despite the deterioration of relations between the two countries since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in 2022.
The crew launched from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida at 22:53 local time (03:53 GMT).
Earlier on Saturday, the launch of the spacecraft carrying three American astronauts and one Russian cosmonaut to the ISS was cancelled due to bad weather.
