The US on Friday discussed possible solutions for an independent Palestinian state amid Israeli strikes on a hospital, according to India Today.
After Israel rejected the prospect of a Palestinian state that would not guarantee its security, the US said Friday it had discussed possible solutions for an independent Palestinian state. Therefore, Joe Biden said a two-state solution is not impossible under Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said Israel struck a hospital in southern Gaza and that displaced people were injured “due to intense gunfire from the Israeli drones targeting citizens at Al-Amal Hospital.”
Earlier this week, Israel launched a military operation in Khan Younis to secure the town.
