US journalist Tucker Carlson has promised to publish his full interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 8 February, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The journalist will publish the full version of the interview on his website. Social network X owner Elon Musk also promised not to block the publication of the clip on the social network.
Tucker Carlson arrived in Russia at the end of last week. On 6 February, he confirmed that he would interview Russian President Putin. He assured that he had paid for the trip himself, and the preparation for it had been underway for several months. The US White House refused to comment on the American journalist’s trip.
According to preliminary data, the interview lasted two hours. A partial transcript of the interview has already appeared on the Internet. Carlson said he also requested an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
