US journalist Tucker Carlson said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not respond to any of his requests for an interview. He wrote about this on his page on X.
Carlson published an excerpt from an interview with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, in which they discussed US aid to Kyiv. The journalist said that he also offered to talk to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson and Zelensky, but nobody responded to him. He claimed:
“We also sent multiple  interview requests to Zelensky to explain his position. Of course, he ignored them.”
Tucker Carlson interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin in February this year. The journalist asked Putin about the causes of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and also tried to understand the reasons for the rapid cooling of relations between Russia and NATO. He discussed with the Russian leader the figure of Volodymyr Zelensky and the Nord Stream explosions, hypotheses that China is seeking to absorb Russia, the development of artificial intelligence and other topics.
Putin, in turn, shared some personal stories about travelling through Ukraine in the 1980s, negotiations with Bill Clinton on Russia’s accession to NATO, and contacts with the CIA.
