The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced a missile strike on the US base Kharab al-Jir, in northeastern Syria, according to Arab Media.
It is reported that American forces at the Syrian al-Jir field facility were targeted by rockets and that more than 13 rockets were fired.
The action of striking the American base was in support of the Gaza Strip in response to Palestinian civilian casualties.
The resistance also issued a statement saying the following: “Next week it will begin a new phase in confronting the enemies, in support of Palestine, and in revenge for the martyrs… stressing that it will be more severe and broader against the enemy’s bases in the region.”
Earlier, Al-Mayadeen reported that there were explosions at a US base at Harab al-Jir airport, northeast of the Syrian city of Hasakah
