Trump at CPAC: US will lose World War 3 if Biden stays in office

Donald Trump laid out the implications of what will happen to the US if Joe Biden is re-elected in November.

Trump told attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC, that only he can ensure America has a better outcome.

They’ll soon have us losing World War III. We won’t even be in World War III, we’ll be losing World War III with weapons the likes of which nobody has ever seen before, Trump told attendees at the conference, an annual gathering of conservatives.

“These are the stakes of this election. Our country is being destroyed. And the only thing standing between you and its obliteration is me. It’s true,” he added.

Trump did not go into detail or discuss the bills he would try to pass if he returned to the White House. He only mentioned that on returning he would seek to pursue the “largest deportation in the history of our country” and drill for more fossil fuels.

“The first and most urgent action when we win will be the sealing of the border, stopping the invasion, drill baby drill, send Joe Biden’s illegal aliens back home,” Trump said.

Donald Trump made the issue of illegal migrants in the US one of his top concerns during his campaign, saying they are “destroying” the country and the situation is 20 times worse than it was in 2016:

We have a border problem that’s 20 times worse than what we had in 2016, Trump said.

This situation is especially acute on the border, where Texas has directly begun to suffer from Washington’s actions. In the meantime, the Pew Research Center reported that the US Border Patrol encountered 250,000 migrants crossing the southern border in December 2023, the highest number ever recorded.

In addition to the domestic issue, Trump has said that if he had held the Oval Office, conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine would not have occurred: “The attack on Israel would have never happened. Remember, Iran was broken. They were broken,” Trump said. “Ukraine would have never happened. I talked to Putin a lot and got along with him well.”

He also verbally condemned prosecutors who brought civil and criminal cases against him after he lost the presidential election.

During the speech, Trump also attempted to rally his base, saying the general election in November is critically momentous for him and his supporters.

“For hardworking Americans, November 5 will be our new liberation day; but for the liars and cheaters and fraudsters and sensors and imposters who have commandeered our government, it will be their judgement day,” Trump stressed.
